Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

What is KAP?

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a specialized treatment that combines traditional psychotherapy with the guided use of ketamine under medical supervision. It is an evidence-informed approach that can support mental health by helping clients access deeper emotional insight, reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, and trauma, and create meaningful shifts in patterns that may feel stuck.

KAP is not a standalone treatment — it works best as part of a structured therapeutic process. Sessions are conducted in a safe, supportive environment with both a therapist and a medical professional involved in your care.

My KAP Process

My approach to KAP is individualized and intentional:

  1. Introduction Sessions:

    • Typically 1–2 sessions to get to know you, understand your goals, and prepare you for the KAP experience.

    • These sessions help establish trust and set intentions for your work.

  2. Medical Evaluation through Journey Clinical:

    • Clients meet with a medical professional to determine whether ketamine is appropriate.

    • This step ensures safety and proper dosing based on your health profile.

  3. KAP Sessions:

    • 2–3 sessions, scheduled in weekly succession.

    • Each session lasts 2.5–3 hours, providing space for both the ketamine experience and therapeutic integration.

    • During the session, you will receive ketamine under supervision while I provide guidance and support to help you process experiences and insights.

Fee: $700 per KAP session

Who KAP Can Help

KAP can be effective for individuals experiencing:

  • Anxiety or generalized stress

  • Depression or low mood

  • Trauma or PTSD

  • Feeling “stuck” in old patterns

  • Difficulty accessing emotional insight through traditional therapy alone

It is not a substitute for psychotherapy, but a tool to deepen and accelerate therapeutic work.
